These Terms of Service ("Terms") explain the rules for using Puppy Weight Estimator ("Puppy Weight Estimator," "we," "us," or "our"). They apply to the website, puppy weight calculator, growth charts, guides, and any account features or other services we make available (together, the "Service").

By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. What the Service does

Puppy Weight Estimator provides general educational information and planning tools about puppy growth and possible adult weight. The calculator uses the information entered by you together with broad assumptions about age, current weight, and adult-size categories. It produces an estimate or range to help with ordinary planning; it does not determine your puppy's actual adult weight.

The public calculator is designed to be usable without an account. Other parts of the Service may require an account or additional information. Features, availability, and presentation may change over time.

The Service may include educational articles, charts, breed references, and links to information maintained by other organizations. We aim to explain the assumptions behind our content, but examples and references may not be complete, current, or suitable for every puppy. Verify important health and care decisions with a qualified veterinarian.

2. Important veterinary disclaimer

Puppy Weight Estimator is not a veterinary practice, veterinary professional, medical provider, or emergency service. The Service is not veterinary advice and does not create a veterinarian-client-patient relationship.

The calculator, charts, guides, and other content:

are for general education and personal reference only;
are not a diagnosis, treatment recommendation, feeding plan, medication instruction, or health assessment;
are not a substitute for an examination or advice from a qualified veterinarian; and
cannot account for every factor affecting a puppy, including genetics, body condition, nutrition, illness, parasites, injury, and mixed ancestry.

Do not use an estimate to delay veterinary care or to decide whether an urgent symptom is safe to ignore. If your puppy is unwell, has trouble breathing, is injured, stops eating or drinking, loses weight unexpectedly, or you are otherwise concerned, contact a qualified veterinarian or an appropriate emergency service promptly.

3. Eligibility and accounts

You may use the Service only if you can legally agree to these Terms. If you are not old enough to enter into an agreement in your jurisdiction, use the Service with the involvement and permission of a parent or legal guardian.

If you create an account, you agree to provide information that is accurate enough for the account to function and to keep it reasonably up to date. You are responsible for protecting your sign-in details and for activity that occurs through your account. Tell us through the Contact page if you believe an account has been accessed without permission.

Please do not enter another person's personal information into the calculator or account without a lawful reason and any permission that is required.

4. Acceptable use

You may use the Service for lawful, personal, and informational purposes. You must not:

use the Service to violate a law, regulation, or another person's rights;
interfere with the Service, its security, or its availability;
probe, scan, or attempt to access accounts or systems without authorization;
upload malware or other harmful code;
scrape, crawl, or automate access in a way that burdens or circumvents the Service;
reverse engineer or copy the Service except where applicable law permits it; or
use the Service to present an estimate as professional veterinary advice or as a guaranteed result.

We may limit, suspend, or end access when reasonably necessary to protect the Service, users, or third parties, including when these Terms are violated.

5. Your information and content

You remain responsible for information and content that you submit to the Service. You represent that you have the rights and permissions needed to submit it. You give us permission to host, process, display, and back up that content only as reasonably necessary to operate and improve the Service.

Calculator inputs are intended to be used for the calculation in your browser. Do not use the calculator as a place to store sensitive personal, medical, or veterinary records. The Privacy Policy explains what information the Service handles and how consent-controlled analytics work.

6. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, text, charts, branding, and other materials, belongs to Puppy Weight Estimator or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. We give you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable permission to use the Service while you comply with these Terms.

You may not reproduce, republish, sell, or create a competing service from our materials without permission, except for personal use or as allowed by law. If you send us feedback, you allow us to use it without payment or further approval, provided we do not use it to identify you publicly without permission.

We may change, suspend, or discontinue part or all of the Service. We do not promise that the Service will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that every estimate will be accurate for every puppy or situation.

We may update these Terms when the Service or applicable requirements change. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new date. Your continued use after an update takes effect means you accept the updated Terms, except where applicable law requires another form of notice or consent.

10. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties that are not expressly stated in these Terms. This includes no promise that the Service will meet a particular need, produce a particular adult-weight result, or replace professional care.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Puppy Weight Estimator will not be responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive loss arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service. We are also not responsible for decisions made solely from an estimate, chart, guide, or other educational content.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits rights, remedies, or liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited in your jurisdiction.
